Our competitve dancers are selected from our regular student enrollment and are those students who meet outstanding levels of talent, dedication and commitment to dance. 

These dancers are those who excel in their classes and learn very quickly.  They handle correction and hard work with determination for success. 

To be considered for the competitve team dancers must be a member of the studio for some time and meet all requirements that the director and choreographers are looking for at that time. 

Dancers are not chosen based on favoritism or amount of tuition paid. It is based on talwnt and that rare gift of excellence in dance.

If selected for competition these dancers make it their #1 commitment and understand that they are not just doing it for themselves but for the others who are a part of the team.

Our competive teams in past years have won numerous gold and platinum awards as well as countless special awards.  The past team members are most proud of their success of accomplishment just entering the competitons but the many high score awards we have won have certainly added to the feeling of success.

 

For our entire studio, we do offer an "IN Studio" competiton in which all our dancers are invited to participate in a competition we hold at the studio showcasing the student's own choreography.  We hold this competiton each Spring and run it as a "real" competition is held so those who may not understand what it is like will see for experience.

Information for this is given out to the students of the dance studio in December.
